Real Chill at Real Coast & Surf

Just to had a quick yet chilling escape from the city, me and my MIMS buddies decided to visit this place somewhere in Quezon. An almost 4 hours drive from Manila, you can find this “instagramable” spot where you can just relax, surf, catch the waves and have fun with your friends and families.

This place was nice and my hippie heart just can’t get enough of the cool wall arts around the area as well as the colorful bean bags at the reception area. The cabanas are combined cute and comfy.

No doubt this place is visited by millenials if they want to get away from the busy streets of the city.
I’ ll just put into pictures how I would describe this place. So here’s a visual blog of our Real trip last May 20-21. Enjoy! :)

This colorful bean bags will welcome you as you enter the resort and yes, they are too cute!

The MIMS Buddies!!

Artsy signages everywhere!!

Another way to chill with your friends is to have bonfire by the beach with some drinks and games too.

My first time to witness an Eastern sunrise though.

Take me back to paradise, please.

Just when you and your friends need some getaway that is not too far from the city, I highly recommend this place. For more information, you can check their Facebook and Instagram account. Feel the real chill. :)

September to Remember: A Day at Universal Studios Singapore

It's has always been a dream for anyone to see their favorite cartoon characters come alive or even have a selfie with them. Growing up watching this animated series such as Shrek and The Sesame St., I've always wanted to meet them too. I'm so glad because our schedule to wander at USS was the first day of my birth month, what a great way to celebrate.

We bought a one-day pass ticket ahead of time so we won't have to take long queues and spend most of our time for such. Luckily enough, we went there on a weekday so we never got to stress because of too long queues and large crowd. For some reasons, I can't explain my happiness and excitement, it felt like I was a little kid again.

I'm out of words, can I just show you guys through a visual blog how happy I was?

Every tourist must never miss a chance to strike a pose at this spot. Of course, as I was given the chance, I never let it slip away! Glad that the people are polite and they let you take a photo first. Well who wants to get their picture photobombed right?
You never know how happy I was when we found this place! I am lowkey fangirling a blogger and saw this post of her on Instagram and I told myself when we got to this place, this will be the one that I will look for first. And yes, here I was!
LOL! I have my best squad and don't you ever mess with us. Haha!
One of the highlights here in USS aside from the live street shows. How about meeting Shrek and Fiona in real life? Or Puss in Boots and Donkey? Yay! Makes me reminisce my childhood days. :)
Enjoying every spot and corners of USS. It rained by the way and we are not able to witness the parade of characters, but still beyond happy.
I told you that I am never missing even a single chance to capture the surreal feels that this place brought me.

Its my dream to go to every themeparks I am capable of going, as USS being the first I had visited, I will always cherish the moments.

23 Before 23

Twists and turns, ups and downs, growing up has never been this fun without those things and it makes us grow better and wiser in life. Just a few of the things I learned as I grow are listed in this post. Haha! Here they are, guys. (P.S This post is a bit lenghty, guys.)

1. People Come and Go. May it be a long-term friend, acquaintance and a just-met-along-the-road friend, some are not meant to stay in your life. Just look at the waves, it comes and it goes.

2. When it's Meant To Be, It Is Meant To Be. No matter how you force the universe to stop it, it will happen. So sit back, relax and let destiny do it's thing. But hey, you still have to do your part as well. Hustle, baby.

3. Shit Happens. Just like how the sun rises in the morning and sets in the evening, you cannot escape those. Just learn how to deal with it properly.

4. Good Friends=Good Company=Good Life. Your squad will always be your happy pill (well, for me) so you better keep them. SML for you guys! :)

5. Keep Exploring. Keep on travelling is such a cliché and I am choosing the word explore. You travel because you want to explore the place. You did not just learn something new about that certain place, but you got to learn something new about yourself as well.

6. Do Your Best, Always. If you keep on being mediocre, then it becomes your habit. I bet you don't want that.

7. Love Your Haters. Be kind to those who criticize you. Always remember that they can pull you down because they are already lower than you. Keep doing your thing and kill 'em with kindness.

8. We Create our Own Heartbreak by Expecting Too Much. Just because you made an effort for anything or anyone does not mean they will do the same for you. What you gave is way more important than what you will receive in return.

9. Let Go and Move On. It is not for you and God let you out of that situation. The best thing about it is, you learned your lesson. Learn to love the sound of your feet walking away from the things not meant for you.

10. Never Give Up. If Plan A does not work, remember that you still got 25 letters left. Keep trying, its free.

11. Keep it Real. Those who truly love you will always appreciate who you are and same as accept all your flaws. What's important is you know yourself and you don't have to please everyone.

12. Not Having a Closure is Already A Closure. Them leaving you was already the answer to your questions. They simply can't be with you. Period.

13. Always Make Time for Important People in Your Life. They will always remember you for that if you keep on doing it.

14. Step Out of Your Comfort Zone. You will never know what is outside unless you get out. Take the risk and enjoy the challenge.

15. Choose the People Who Choose You. You don't need those who don't want you at all. Don't force yourself to someone or anything. Know your worth, you are precious.

16. Express How and What You Feel. Cry if you feel like crying. It's never wrong to show how vulnerable you are sometimes. Laugh if you want to laugh it all out. You don't know who gets inspired by those laughs though.

17. Everything Takes Time. Just because its not happening now does not mean it never will. Sometimes, God is testing you and He's preparing you when the right time comes.

18. Stop Trying To Please Everyone. We are not born to please. Whatever you do, there will always someone who will enhance your flaws.

19. It's a Step-by-Step Process. Whether you are going through or waiting for something, remember that just because you took longer than others, doesn't mean you failed.

20. Learn to Love Yourself, Always. If you don't, who else will? If they only see hallways, let them see museums in you.

21. You Will Be Okay, It Will Be Okay. Soon you will be over it and when you look back, you will smile and be happy because finally, you are over to the things you never expect you will get over with. Good job! And of course, its never wrong to open your heart again to someone or something new. It's courage.

22. The World and the People May Be Cruel Sometimes, You Got To Stay Strong. Anyone can betray you, say something behind your back or even become untrue to you. You know who you are and that is what important. The good part of this is that you can sort out the people worthy to stay in your life. Still, quality over quantity.

23. We Don't Meet People or Experience Things by Accident. They are meant to cross our path for reason.

I'm still 23 and learning. I'm still young. I still got to experience and learn a lot of things. So I got to go with the flow, laugh tons and try something new. Trust my feelings, take a chance, study hard, seek happiness, make a wish at 11:11, challenge myself, take pictures and appreciate memories and regret nothing. As the song goes, I have the time of my life.
